Catching up...
I have been pursued by men even when I'm in a serious relationship and they know that.  Some guys just can't take a hint...although I guess some women can't, either!

Tim's got a pretty good idea, there.
That could be great fun, in fact.

A long time ago I learned a lesson and used it well with children, men even animals. The worst thing in the world is to be ignored. Do not respond to this man's questions, answers or anything, just look at him or better yet don't be in the same environment at all. This is a wreck waiting to happen.

Perhaps because he can't have what he wants, he reaches out and grabs something that he can have?  A reaction from you?  Drives me bozo when people sometimes do these silly things.  Not you.  --Joy!Mary

They're like sharks sensing blood in the water around newly single women.
Married women get in the habit of being receptive and responsive - where single girls are geared toward fending off the jerks. He hoped to sneak under your skirt before you lose your receptive spirit and the "get lost" instinct comes back. :)

Good Morning Bel........

You ask, "Why would someone persist when someone else has made it clear they are not interested?" Well, Bel in my opinion, it's because men are dogs! BTW, it is nice to be desired though, even if you don't act on it.  Also, know that you and Carl are still in my prayers!

POOR LUV, yes there are priditory men and women who think every
one else is as fixated on quick carefree sex as what they are. Imagine trying to have a marriage with one of them!

I have to admit, I am more than a little bit surprised.  I suppose I always expected the word "married", no matter the circumstances meant something.

I am the woman who spent 14 months without a husband and remained faithful while my husband was in Iraq.  If the fool thinks that this bump in the road is going to make me more willing he is nuts.
