Comments on When our political perspective and that of the candidate standing for

My take on politicians deciding to be honest from now on is that they should be honest from the beginning, but I don't think any politician is.  If they were, they would be in a different line of work.  The governor that we had before this one was a Baptist preacher before being governor, but I don't believe he was honest either.  I hate to say it but I don't trust any politician.  Some or less crooked than others, and we have to vote hoping to elect the least crooked ones.

Well that is my opinion for what it is worth.

No thanks, saul relative. I'd rather struggle to enter a world that is
just and sustainable, however difficult and unwelcoming the path may be. Don't you think this latter choice would give u a better feeling?

Welcome to the world of immediate democracy and rule by poll...

The trouble is...
Are candidates saying what they believe in, or parroting positions that polls indicate are popular?  The job of sorting that out is up to the idividual voter.

Probably not, straightforward
but one should keep a positive attitude or they probably will not even go to the trouble to vote.
