Thanks. You're correct, that was the significant part of the poem, reflecting on powerful moments of silence can be. It means a lot of different things to different people.

Yes I am a gentle & kind spirit who honours the beauty & love eminating from a woman. And so I shall always praise them from the depth of my being. GOD really created women as unique. I will take your hand when it reaches me.b Thanks

"Speechless in the beauty of Silence", thanks for this sincere comment, it's not often you can be silenced! Yes but silence is also a powerful medium of appreciation of GOD'S benevolence.

So glad that it's serenity appealed to you. One of the many facets that one could read into the poem. Have a peaceful day ahead.

your comments make me feel humble & thankful that I can be an inspiration to others who are appreciative of my writing. I'm happy that you share such moments of silence, especially with someone special. Aren't they powerful, more so than sounds?

Lindo -WOW...you are obviously an avid reader of arabic poets...hence I
feel chuffed & honoured by your comments. I simply love Khalil Gibran's works, a little bit Rumi but also read a lot of Sufi philosopy. Shakespeare is also one of my favorites.

OTA - Trust you to notice most of the comments are from women!
My Muse? She's obviously still around, she could be real, a shadow or a metaphor. and
what's more, she could even be a Rose? A soul mate but not a lover.....

Hana- thanks. I'm sure you find the silence moments most
appreciative as well, especially if you share it with someone else who understands you.

In the silence.... yes it's in silence that we hear and feel so much. I felt as though the poem was being read to me (as appposed to me reading it) - it lifted off the screen with such grace.

as always very beautiful
Your poems remind me of the masterpieces of the classical arabic poets Abu Fraas, Antara and Nizaar qabbani: eloquent, delicate, sincere yet very poignant at the same time.
