No it doesn't make any sense considering you have a home to offer for a swap...I feel so bad you and your children are staying in a refuge because of that asshole! I love you~

It makes sense to me too.
I don't know what is wrong that they can't figure out workable solutions.
I think it may be a quicker process here.  At least that is what I have read.  I haven't actually been in a situation like that, so I can't say for sure, but I know that emergency cases take first priority.

I hope you get some justice soon.

Take care, love.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and the children.

If you can find a way, let me know if you need anything, won't you?

Is there affordable private housing you can lease instead of from the government?Or a mobile home in a caravan park? You can travel around and park in allocated places.

Symph

I wish there was something I could do to help. I think putting that great energy you have behind making those stupid MPs lives miserable is a good idea. Picket, write letters to the paper, hand out leaflets to train riders....anything to get them embarrassed enough to do something.

At least you are safe and for that we are all grateful

I had a feeling this was a situation in which your ex was involved
I am so very sorry dear, I pray that you will have a home for you and your children very, very soon.  Big hugs to you.

Hi Symph -
The only thing I can suggest is to keep yourself focused and angry rather than resigned and down - devote yourself to getting that house. Those who shout loudest will get attended to first. If you've been on the waiting list since may 2004 then, with this latest turn of events, you should continue to demand that this is sorted out. You know that's fair, so don't accept their refusal to give you a house. It'll also keep you occupied and out of the hostel. Is there any newspapers you could write to, or magazines. That often helps to get them on your side? Best wishes - Tony

Your life these days makes me think more of dissonance, but you personally are a symphony and we miss your music here at blogging.   It is such a shame that they cannot work with you in some way on trading your house with another in a different place.  Why must they always go about things in the most difficult and unhandy ways?  I hope you can soon get your children out of the "prison" they are in.
