Bhaskar.ing - I've had a few bloggers attempt to take religious discussion
off of Blogit into my personal life but no wishes of an early demise.
Most condemnations of the eternal suffering variety towards me have been uttered in exasperation but there have been a few that have been downright malicious in their intended sentiment. I find them quite hilarious for the most part. Aside from their supposed message of love degenerating to scorn and condemnation, these people can't seem to grasp how I view their warnings/threats. Someone suggesting that I will be spending eternity in a lake of fire is to me; akin to threatening an invasion of my home by forest pixies.

That's a very sad state of affairs. Initially, I too felt that there was a concerted attempted at my being hounded out because I wrote non-coformist ideas, according to some. But I ignored or attacked successfully. Would you believe that someone even wished death for me.

Xeno-x - can you believe that I'm still a few clicks shy a day later?
I thought I was safe with my blog headline but yesterday was a particularly slow day for this blog.

Bhaskar.ing - why someone would so flippantly wish eternal suffering upon
another is beyond me.
But why they wish it upon me specifically is simply because some folks don't like what I write. If someone is not spreading the same message of "love" that they are, condemning them to hell seems to be their answer.

Who ever said that controversy doesn't have it's benefits?

Congrats, my friend!

That is a fine landmark to achieve. My heartiest congratulations to you. And I think what JanesOpinion has said, has said on behalf of all your readers. Why would anyone want to see you in hell?

Gome, congratulations on having reached this exhalted level of
clickage.
Not that clarification is needed (since I don't recall ever verbalizing a desire for you to burn in hell), but just so you know, the last place I want you to BE is in hell, so you'll get no wishes from me to that end.
But in your other endeavors, whatever they may be, I wish you well.

Troosha - I have to agree - I've always felt that I get more phantom clicks
on this blog than on my other blogs.
I've had as many as 50+ views without receiving a comment on this blog; while on my other blogs, I've never had such a disproportionate number of clicks versus comments. Most comments that I do get however are from reasonably intelligent people adding something to the blog content. I think that I have chased most of the knuckleheads away.

I think some of your "clicks" are probably rubber neckers - you know... those people who slow down to catch a glimpse of a car accident but don't have the courage to stop and help (in this case take the time to leave a meaningful comment).

FoliageGold - it's rather surprising when one looks at the total
Even more surprising is the ebb and flow of viewer traffic. Some days I have had 100+ views, while other days I have had only a handful of views.

strat - thank you - those are very kind words
I do try to present arguments based on some sort of logic while staying away from broad generalizations and widely held misconceptions.

Congrats, Gome!
Fact is, you are one of the best reads on this site -- well constructed essays, darn near flawless logic, and a dose of well placed sarcastic wit. So keep on keeping on!
