Ah, yes.  The darkest moments are where the reflection of light and ponderings are most needed.  And realizing gratitude for what we DO have is wonderful and inspiring.  Hold on tight, I'm here!

For me this started due to what felt like the darkest moment in my life.  I needed something to hold onto and in truth I still do, this blog does two tihings for me.  It reminds me that I have much to be grateful for and it also reminds me that there is always hope.  Thank you.

I'm all for trying to change what we can for ourselves.  It's not always easy, but I've found that when the desire is there, it's not so difficult.  Good on you!  Love the idea of a gratitude blog.

I have to admit, it has been a battle until today.  When I noticed the changes then I WANTED to exercise.

Straightforward
I discovered that I had two choices recently: either spend my time feeling sorry for myself or start being grateful for all the good things that I do have in my life.

Holy Grail
Sometimes it takes a blow to make us step back and realize that while we can't control all things that we can control things about oursleves.

I can relate so much to this (great blog idea, by the way.)  When I finally made the decision to lose weight 6 years ago, it was after I'd lost my job and I was sort of reeling. I decided that I needed to change one of the few things that only I had total control of, and I changed my lifestyle. It can certainly change the way you look at yourself, and the world.
