The past is passed, concentrate on"now".
As for your money problems, someone should look immediately into some legal counselling, and find out about services available from your local governments. You've been paying taxes, right? Time to see what they can do for you as far as health (mental and physical), transport, counselling, and referrals. There are things to do before your mother dies to keep your money available and etc; sounds cold, but while bereavement is tough, it's tougher when you are broke.
Good luck, and don't dwell on the past unless it was good. As for the future, someone once told me we meet all our pets after we die. She'll have quite an entourage,no?

So sorry about all your troubles! Wish I could help. I know how you must feel. I used to be one of the youngest in my family, but two of my brothers, my father, my mother,my grandmother, and my young wife died, and now I am the Patriarch! It is lonely.
