Obama??? Oh, no........to me he's the Manchurian Candidate. A Muslim in sheep's clothing. A product of radical planning started decades ago........

Rush gets credit for doing things like you mention even when he
doesn't do it. So you can imagine what would happen if he did!

yeah i read it -- you did it again didn't you? -- take one person's view
an op-ed piece at that, not an official editorial of the imes.
you do know what op-ed pieces are don't you? they are opinion submitted by freelance writers and can span the spectrum of opinion -- they can be totally opposite the view of the paper.
here's a photo of him with a friend

apparently Mr. E. is himself outside of the mainstream African American (AFAM) culture. There is something of an indication that he does not speak for the American Black Man, and this will probably become evident as what you don't expect will in fact occur -- responses from mainstream African American figures, criticizing this article as being so far away from the mainstream AfAm views as to be absurd.
click for the whole article
I would imagine that Mr. Obama, like Poitier, is something of a hero the the AFAM community, a pioneer to demonstrate that not all African Americans are "stepenfetchit", or gang types, or like the most often picture purveyed in the media, the recording artist with all the bling bling and wealth and women, or the African American portrayed much in TV and movies as Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence portray.
the thinking African American I am very certain supports Mr. Obama.
but again you do what conservatives love to do, take an isolated statement from someone not in the mainstream and make it look like the statement of the publication running it or a statement of all liberals, African Americans, anyone disagreeing with your warped and narrow point of view.
