Sooo...math is sex, too?
I love music, hate math, but am a creative mess. Music unites creativity with precision, so everyone can enjoy it (thank goodness!)

How brave you are. This is all like looking under the car bonnet to me.

A wonderful post. My husband is a musician and loves math almost as much as sex. I must admit I don't understand music or math. Both, beautiful as music is, are stoic and exact. I am a creature of inexact art.

Yep! Binary language! 10000011100010001100000100 (don't know what I just said, but it's probably a naughty word in robot language!)
Fractals are really neat! They're a lot like life, patterns within patterns within patterns...

Fractals -- a form of geometry.
Someone set up a fractal program in a computer, and the result was endless patterns of cycling images, geometric shapes like snowflakes and mountain peaks and trees, colors changing, psychedelic... Lovely. BTW in line with your mathblog -- music students who read and perform get better grades in math and the sciences. Math's a language. :)
