Yes I know what you mean about trailers
you are left with no surprises. I always quite enjoyed Kirsty and Phil. They don't take themselves too seriously. He has a slighty louche air about him and she dresses in clothes that are too old for her.

I hate trailors
Sometimes I even hate reading the back of the box before renting a video as it can sometimes give too much away.

It is really sickening when something looks good from the shorts and then
when you sit down to watch it you've seen all the best bits. I have even pretended to have seen something at the movies after watching so much of it from ads. Stupid idea I think.
Something else really annoying for me is when you come back from an ad. break and they recap everything so far,,,,and then they do it again and again. We switch it off. I don't like being treated like an idiot with short term memory of three minutes only. You end up with about 10 minutes of real programme in a half hour spot.

Some trailers show the only funny parts of the movie!
And then the movie turns out to be not what you expected at all...

After some trailers, especially comedy films, I just don't bother with the
film, because they usually have shown the best bits--and out of context--to entice you in. then the movie just isn't that funny. Nothing suffers from loss of surprise more than a comedy!
