My son made the best corned beef and cabbage I have ever eaten..He is a fine cook. Glad yours turned out well...You are right the stock can make so many soups!

If you were wondering about the corned beef-- It was a success, by all
accounts, and made excellent hash yesterday, and the broth is making a good stock for other sorts of soups. The cabbage was sweet and buttery-tasting yummy!

Factorfiction, I've found Stain-Stick works pretty well for such
faux-pas. Good luck saving those pants!

I always add a dash of vinegar and a chopped onion and cook slowly for ages
then let it sit in the pot and its so tender to eat. Carrots mashed potato and a creamy sauce.
Yum I'm off to cook!

Just don't let the fat splash on your clothes.
I stained a brand new pair of pants yesterday!

I know I can't with it frozen. LOL. Under normal conditions, I have to stand them on their sides and curl them around the bend of the pot. HAHA

Crockpot corned beef is good enough for me. I had one in the freezer for today and forgot to thaw it. It frozen solid as a rock.
