I do write and I am active in my polictical party. As far as the political blogs..I tend to stay away from the ones that upset me, but you know how I am, sometimes I just can't sit back and agree. I have been accused of being too strong minded.

Many don't like the idea of confrontation.....they see all the political blogs as such.....I have to admit I was rather...ahem, strong in the beginning.....but that's no way to gain a readership and have conversations......

Justi, I write my congressmen
regularly. I bet I'm on some sort of list for people with too many opinions. I generally don't discuss politics with other people. I take it to the top. I'm direct, straightforward, and not well-liked by my representatives. But, at least they know what I'm thinking. Take care

mostly! About this voting business: wanna bet that many of your friends from south of the border, who, dare I say it, may be there, as, well, possibly (pssst)...uninvited guests, lol - will vote? If I weren't such a pricipled guy, I might come down there and vote, just as a matter of principle...

Well Said...I agree.
I always get out an vote..if not what right do I have to bitch when things aren't going the way that "I" feel they should be going. Also, I am not appposed to picking up the pen so to speak and writing my congressman or senator about issues both good an bad. Believe it or not they do listen...At times, they call you back directly. Stand up for what you believe in, if not somone else will.
