SuccessWarrior - "manifest destiny" was the catch phrase for centuries
The same people that harbor such a notion today will still maintain that their God is a loving, all caring God. But apparently this God only loves those who were born in the right countries and into the right religion.

Hey now! I happen to live in a country that was chosen by god.
He gave it to all white male christian land owners. God sure is picky about who he chooses.

It makes

human god. Everyone makes god out who they want him to be to one degree or another.
