What a nice way to come back to blogit.  I've been away and did manage to get a couple of pieces written.  You, too, took quiet a lengthy sabbatical, as I recall . . . It is a challenge to keep up with more than one posting a day.  It is going to be a busy spring until we get our business moved and and settled into.   We had our designer here over the weekend. They will start the remodeling this week! Peace and watch the mail!

Communicating Poetry

 

Shall I communicate passion for these?

Sonnet, haiku, free verse and villanelle:

Subjects of free lessons I lead some days -

Somehow, some way, I manage my schedule

 

To volunteer time, enthusiasm

And samples of writing I have conceived

Bore for nine months or longer, a dream

Brought to living form with diction received

 

Young hearts and faces enthused for author

As they teach themselves self-esteem, the rules

That pervade each form, to bring forth other

Yet-to-be-seen eyes, ears, passion that fuels

 

Future dreams, happy humans, poets of peace

We rediscover rules that we may breach
