I really liked this picture of him... a quiet moment with a cigarette, just before (or after) a photo shooting session.... a picture worth many thousands of words, I think.

Enigmatic68... glad you enjoy it.
yeah, the Beatles pretty well caught our attentions.
I really loved John's "Mother" album... I was about...13 then.
I have found John's solo words to be the 2nd witness, after my own parents.
I stayed away from politics, and big crowds at concerts too. But, with such an inclination toward the Beatles as you have, you might want to take a look at the Princess and Unicorn STory... especially once I get into posting the Dreams from the Hall of Mirrors. THey really deal with the times that were, way back then...

Neil... thanks. I really like this one too. Have you tried reading the Princess and Unicorn Story yet...? I put it over into fantasy;and science fiction area.. it seems to fit better there...

Lennon...
While I wasn't a supporter of his politics, or his solo stuff, I truly love his work with The Beatles - they were the first rock group I got into - when I was about 10 or 11 yrs. old, and they will obviously go down in music history as one of, the if not the greatest rock band of all time!
