Hi there!
The region where I grew up was a rural area when I was just a kid. There were a couple of farms, and plenty of greenery around. I saw more than one animal get slaughtered. First some chicken, at my cousin's grandma's place. They just chopped the head off and then we were invited to plume those dreadful things. When I was a bit older, I watched a rabbit beaten to death and then being skinned, and sometime later I watched how they killed a pig. This was done in the centre of the village, btw. They just put down a big bowl before they cut the pig's throath. And no, I have not turned into a vegetarian. I do eat meat, but I prefer animals to be slaughtered properly, in a slaughter house.
