The Virginia Assembly just apologized for slavery. Several other states have deals in the offing to do the same. Not one of the people in any of these august bodies owned slaves. It's the politically correct thing to do. I meant that part of the blog tongue-in-cheek. I see no reason for a person to apologize or do anything of that sort because his forefathers owned slaves. Many think it should be so and they are usually from the left.

Why are you being so deterministic to say that if a person's father owned
slaves and there is no slave-owning any more, he can't qualify as different?
