And, richinstore, while some of the seriously toxic ones are easy
to recognize, some are not, and it is not worth taking chances! (In a local public market, someone who knows his fungus spotted some tasty puffballs on offer, and at least one of them was an immature amanita-- "Death Angel" mushroom!)

not all mushrooms are edible. Some are poisonous while some are ntritious and some have medicinal properties.

I make it a policy not to eat mushrooms I have not been properly
introduced to, so I can't tell you about this one... But it is small, dainty, and would break, i think, at a harsh word!
