This is a good question.I had a similar experience when I started taking power yoga classes. I would come home from morning class, exhausted, and take a nap. By the time I was showered, ate and dressed, it was afternoon! I spoke to my yoga teacher and fellow yoginis about this phenomena and some suggested I needed more protein and probably water too. And I was barely 40!

You should do what works for you, although it's not always a questionof age. And it is possible to be active even when one gets old.

I remember, years ago when I ran my first marathon, for a while I was running with this older guy. We chatted a bit, and I asked him how old he was - he told me he was eighty-two, and it was his twenty-seventh marathon - and I had no reason to doubt that, the way he was moving...

But don't you hate when that happens, Nana?
I too have succumed to that over-50 workout and it ticks me off big time. I was feeling the same way..good at the time..wiped out for the rest of the day later. Seems wrong but guess you can't argue with the old bodies!
