Everyone can have a political or religious opinion - be it an ugly one or one that's wrapped up in a nice pretty bow. But as someone else said - putting one's thoughts into action is another matter altogether. For me... I think I (perhaps not dissimilar to Wiley) hope that when I open my eyes there will be harmony and love in my day. I don't expect it to rain upon me like some answered prayer but I expect to shape my day into what I want it to be.

The comments that you have received here are so good and so right that there is not much that I could possibly add except to you personally. Keep the faith lady. Don't let anyone get you down about it. When it seems too big for you, step back and give it to God. He knows how many hairs you have on your head.

Oh how I can hear your heart luv, a good post.
Frankly I have discovered the world goes so much better if I remove myself from the equation and sit quietly in the morning just saying in my mind. ma-ra-na-tha, ma-ra-na-tha as I breath in and out, and with that Aramaic word, Jesus does come to me more often than not..
Mostly He says to me that He put everybody exactly where they are, George Bush, Stephen Harper, Tony Blair, Osama, all the leaders, all the good ones and all the bad ones, and He is shuffling them around, and all things will work out.
And Christianity will never be stamped out, it is part of the beautiful mosaic of creation, because in my life experience, everyone is brought to their knees at some point, but not all will admit that. God bless you both my friend.

You are right. What is best for the whole is not the same to everyone. Be blessed.

No matter what the solution
one will always find those that disagree.

I do believe you are right about that. They, people who have guts and conviction, don't want to play the political games to get into the office to do any good. Good comment. Thanks.

our two countries still have people with sound principles and good ideas, what's lacking is the people with the guts to carry them out...

Without a system of objective values, no political party will be able to
induce any real impact on society.

I believe we should remain optimistic and keep taking steps to reinforce our individual strengths on a daily basis. We need to take care of our own homes, spouses and children first.
