Interesting!
Your poem was intriguing! Very to the point! I don't know much about American politics, but I know a wee bit more now from reading your poem!

About what you left on my blog, you're right. My boyfriend had a miserable time growing up. His mother left when he was 21 after 30 years of a stifling, loveless marriage. As a consequence, he doesn't ever want to get married. Me, I do, and my parents have been married now for 27 years, very happily. We've been together almost 3 years, and he still can't seem to grasp the whole communication thing. Every time we've had a bust up, it's because of his lack of communication. He always says he'll try to talk more to me, but he never does. *sigh*

Anyway, I'll have a wee look around at your other stuff now. :)

taxguy...

Thought I would check in to see what your poetry is all about. Wow...

It appears as if we share an opinion or two. I am not against having a woman for president - to be honest, I think that a woman may be able to do a better job. However...I just cannot see HRC leading the nation into progress. There is a dollar sign in the left eye where the pupil should be, you know? But that is just my opinion.

And Obama...I have not really caught any vibes off of the man. Perhaps my opinion will change as candidates proverbial snowball picks up a little bit of speed.

Great messages in your poetry, by the way. Glad to meet you.

When I travel I am appalled at the anti American talk all around me.
Especially Europe.

proc says
Ive said this a few times to my hubby when the debate over Americas involvement in Iraq raises it s head. The problem with being a powerful country is that the whole world expects you to have the answers while evryone else sits back and takes their cue from you.And one minute everyone expects America to take charge and get involved but then the next they must  back off and not get involved.Ive always felt that America is damned if they do and damned if they dont.or between a rock and a hard place.or in a catch 22.
