Thank you, TAPS and kingmi. I try. And I know we don't agree on
Dubya too often, kingmi, but I do agree that, if nothing else, he is a man of conviction. As a person, he's probably a pretty good guy. As a president, he's a little misguided (and some of that can be attributed to Mr. Cheney, Mr. Rove, and Ms. Rice.) As a historian, I find his penchant for authoritarian rule, the free hand he's been given by the last Congress, and his acqiescence to corporate dictates a disturbing precedent.
