Soterios-I have dealt with the neurological degeneration for 24 years.
I know what I am dealing with.  In your blog you make a blanket statement about chronic illness sufferers as being afflicted by the dark side, evil spirits. Ask Bhaskar, Ask YPunday, if I emanate evil, dark thoughts? Please get to know my work and who I am first before you suggest that all we people with chronic degenerative illness invited in black beings, intentionally or  otherwise, through some sinful act and being weak; they got in and if we truly had faith, we could cure ourselves through God the father. I have always remembered feeling God from the age of 10 months on with huge clarity of what I was experiencing.  He is strong in me.  There is no room for darkness to reside. In my daily prayers, I ask for healing for others before myself.  God would prefer I heal myself first, if that is to be his will, but I will always thank him first for the miracles he performs in the thousands every day of which we aren't even aware.I stand in God's grace every day, and he grants me joy, wisdom, throws in a pinch of sorrow from time to time, he grants me excellent medical care. Then it is my duty; it's up to me to choose to get busy and use the tools he has provided me.

I think you do all sick people who are of faith, and who don't enjoy being ill (who does??), a huge disservice by implicating otherwise. Are we somehow less blessed because God let the dark ones enter our weak and sorry souls???? I don't think so for an instant.  We have been posting positive affirmations, written in the power of prayer, written in the present ("I AM 100 pounds") and of God's glorious power over pain. There are people who are non-believers who had been called to him and then returned completely healed. They have been on deathbeds, riddled with cancer.  Many have succumbed in much the same way. It was their time to be called back.

You are relatively young in your journey. I sincerely wish you continued health, continued examination of God's role in the world. I suggest you also read the three books by Neal Donald Walsch.  Read Sylvia Browne's first three books on God, Creation and Tools of Life.  Then there's Paul Twitchell's "the Flute of God." Gary Zukov's "Soul Stories'.  "The Gnostic Bible." A new Book, "Misquoting Jesus."
Peace and namasthé

If we took as much pains t chosse a compliment, utopia will arrive. But then
again, the Lord wants to remind us the PERFECTION is in Jesus and through the Savior to the Original Source of Bliss. Shalom

Why not try something free and powerful
Have you ever thought about saying a daily prayer which invokes healing and protection?

As the saying goes: If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got

There is a short prayer on on my blog,  it has changed my life.
