I understand they contain mercury . . .
. . . and thus are subject to all kinds of restrictions on their disposition. Have you heard anything about this?

This is soooooo silly!
I actually use those bulbs....but they're not as bright....I don't care what they claim. I do so because I choose to do so.....it lowers the electric bill. But for people to tell me I had to do this.....I don't think so.....
