Dave, I think these point up how uncertain it can be to take anything
and try to understand or judge it out of context!

I am terrible at these things
but is the last one alligator skin?  Also, another looks like a wool something(rug)?

I recognize the first flower as belonging to the Mallow family. I am thinking of opening a blog on plants instead of Ditch Doctor. I am waiting for spring to do it.
