OFFBEATS
I am glad I am not the only one that feels this way. I thought she was going to handle it ok, until I didnt get home when she wanted me and he had made me later.

I agree and we have gone to counseling over this subject and she seemed to take it well that I was going out with him, but wanted me back at a certain time, probably because she had no place to go

I dont understand those of you that think he was in the wrong, he was at work and couldnt get away. It doesnt matter where he was Valentines day we weren't seeing each other then.

I agree with Mrs. T on this one...You do have a right to have a personal life. She is old enough she should be able to understand that. I am glad he called you and kept you updated on his schedule....KIDS

You should also have your personal life back on track and for your
daughter not to have respect for that I think is a bit unfair on you. At least the guy phoned you and let you know that he was running late. You have your times together with your daughter so she should not be so unfair on you to expect your time every time and give you a bit of personal space. You can make it up to her later. That is my opinion.

It depends.
Where was he on Valentine's Day? Never lay waiting. If it were me and I had a plan with a man and he postponed, then I would say not available. Done deal.

If she express rudeness then she is wrong but if she tried to make
you understand politely then she is right .
