Tonyzonit - thank you - most of my posts are assembled in my mind while
in bed just before rem sleep.
It used to be the technical drawings of automated assemblies or the progression of ladder logic in programmable limit controllers . . . then my brain exploded, so now its nearly meaningless blogs that utilize that segment of my mental energy.

David1Spirit - I have always said that it is inherent in human nature to
acclimate to those of like mind.
Whether we realize it or not, all of us prefer the company of and interaction with people that share our opinions. Having said that; I know what you mean: there are certainly enough people around that seem incapable of reasonable dialogue.

Xeno-x - thanx - where it may be "let the best blog win", we know that
this is not always the case.
There are so many other influences on blog rankings. The chatting aspect of the comment utility being one, blog wars, differences of opinion and gossip being others. Content most times has little to do with it but even that is not always true. Outright popularity is another factor including being accepted into various little groups and cliques. ..... all of these realities makes me wonder why this blog is number one in this category?

Always glad to see a like-minded blog rise up; it beats the alternative
I would rather see a blog that is open to decent discussion go further than a blog that preaches a "my way or hell" attitude.
We are all different in our beliefs; but how one goes about discussing (and living with) those differences is the key for me.
