star4you - Thank you my dear. I do my best! There are some good nights of sleep to balance the bad, don't worry. Ah, music. It can do both for me--help me wake more up, and help me go to sleep.

drohan254 - Internet can be evil, can't it? We just gotta get online when we get the chance and hope the net stays nice. =) Thanks for commenting.

afzal50 - Thank you very much, particularly for noting the analogies.

Kat02 - Thank you so much! ^o^ Mwee.

mobedder - I think you're right, there are lots of people who have to deal with this. I love your creative comment, shooting star versus bouncing ball. That's what I love about BlogIt, how sometimes poetry gets poetry as a comment! Thank you.

Tonyzonit - You're probably right. I guess my fear is if I stop trying to sleep and do something constructive until I feel tired, I may sleep even LESS. *Laugh*

Passionflower - I've tried that... Obviously, I was not successful. I should give it another go, I suppose. I've come to realize that, as much as I love sleep, I don't actually need a ton of it. I take after my father, apparently. Thanks for the comment and the advice!

MariaMaria - Thank you, for the rose and the comment.

Many people with creative minds have trouble sleeping.
You can train your mind to relax each group of muscles and go to sleep. The mind is a powerful tool but you must learn to utilize its capabilities. Check into bio-feedback. It might work for you.

Hi - I sympathise. It's best to do something constructive, I think.

Unlike a shooting star
that zaps downward with a rather straight flight, this is like a bouncing ball, and OH...could I relate! You did a terrific job here...bet there are few out there who couldn't relate to this.
