Rumored_Intelligence For the most part earthquakes are like plane
crashes. Statistically they don't kill many but when they do strike they are frightful.

are granted good graces here. That must have been an unbelievable experience for you.

mysteria--
that's one thing I won't miss now that I'm not living in CA. There is always the threat of another "big one" like Loma Prieta. I was driving during that one and thought all my tires blew out.

Hi mOOn, that's awfully sweet of you! take all the time you need
and if you can't get around to it no worries. I totally understand the constraints in time. Especially when trying to relay something in which words fall short. They do that a lot huh mOOn...

Lovely Mysteria, It is hard to put these things in writing. There are many limitations to language. Plus, I need to tune into you and see what is right for you and also, what is the right way to say it. Plus, I'm.........ummmmmm............sort of maxed out; time wise, energy wise, otherwise. Let me try to put some words together over the space of say a week or two. It's better too if I do it in increments. Then, I'll email to you. Give me a reminder occasionally if you don't mind. I need constant swift kicks. Not too constant. Not too swift. How about 'gentle reminders?' Hope this is okay with you? MoonSpirit

WoW mOOn! You are SO lucky! To be so vivid after all these years
says a lot. I aim to be receptive to such things. Any hints for a novice? Thanks for sharing your neato experiences. Any out of the ordinary reality is what I like for tea

Tanga Most of the time they are over faster than you have time to react.
They shake you back and forth quite suddenly, then you immediately think to yourself, 'hey that was an earthquake'. One time though, the shaking persisted longer than I was used to and I hid under a strong table just in case!
Most of the time they are just mild to moderate around here. Thanks for visiting Tanga

Mysteria, I don't want to describe the experience fully; not in writing. It's hard to convey with 'mere' language anyway. Let me just say that I left CA in '89 or '90 and the memory is still vivid. I've had innumerable 'experiences'. Essentially, they happen daily. However, this one experience was so unique, so different; I can still see and feel the energy and the experience. Okay, I'll tell you this much - they 'live' beneath some ocean plates. It was only the shifting of the plates that opened their world and them to me. TREMENDOUS energy was released. It was WAY cool! They were unlike any other beings I have ever encountered. MoonSpirit

So much Earth energy is released. Literally, they open portals for me. I remember vividly marine elementals who appeared to me following an Earthquake. I had never met them in other travel. Okay. Getting too far out here. I need to avoid the men in White (coats, that is.) MoonSpirit

Hi mOOn...I've lived here my whole life and have felt many earthquakes.
San Diego is somehow blessed in that we only get minor ones. It is the zones north of here that get rocked. BTW i like them too! They are exciting and remind me of how much i am a part of the earth and how the environment affects us all. Tis a dynamic planet this place WoW!
