Hi, Ted! It really is fun to see this area from the sky-- there is so much
variety of landscape, with mountains and forests all around, and so many ins and outs of Puget Sound, and Hood Canal... When Charlie was around 11, we took a quick sight-seeing flight (one of those trial flights, for folks who are considering lessons-- and he got to fly as co-pilot) but it was a bit of a hazy day.

Foodforthought, I sulk the whole way if I get stuck in the middle!
Flying at night, a couple of times I have seen Northern Lights far off on the horizon. And a full moon on clouds is an awesome sight!

OneTimeAgain-- it was a Southwest flight, a Boeing something or other--
6 seats across, one aisle, no first-class section, if that helps... I was just behind the wing on the south side of the cabin, wanting to get a good view of Mt Rainier which is usually out that side.
There is no reserved seating on Southwest: it's first-come-first-served, so I did my best to be at the head of the line.
For that and other reasons, I really appreciated SW Air-- the people were great, much nicer than many I have encountered on 'major' airlines.
