I'm glad you enjoyed this piece, as for the writing style, it's a bit different, isn't it? 'Intriguing', you said. The excerpts I write for Separate Lives tend to be a different style from anything else I've written. I don't really know why--it's intriguing to me, too, actually. Maybe I focus so much on the writing because there is so uch I try to convey with these excerpts.
