YES! If I had a winter hat, I'd have been wearing it for the past two days. But I've been wrapping my scarf around my head at night to keep warm.

I slept in my room, it's where my oxygen is, and the kids have been sleeping on the couch. It wasn't so bad...with three shirts

Sunny, I hope you slept on the sofa in the warmest room..
when I was into running, in the really cold weather I'd wear 3 or even 4 sweatshirts if necessary and a couple pair of all weather pants.

Cover the head. It's the head! We lose 70% of our body heat (or something like that, I'm not off by much) through the head. It took me a long time to learn this. Cover your head and you will stay warm. MoonSpirit

You must not live south of Pensacola, Florida..... As I count down the days till March, when springtime pops in and out all month long, along with massive ice storms and deep wet snows on the tulips (in April), I am staying layered myself, gulping nervously when I open my bills to reveal what upcoming energy bills we may have, and happy we sold our building (that had a $500 gas bill last month to avoid freezing the water lines, that run in the ceiling). Oh, tra-la-la, these deep freeze days of winter -- or am I confusing them with the lazy crazy hazy dayz of summer? Stay warm now!Cee
