I agree with your trying to get more sleep. I've been considering that, too. I don't think I will cut out my caffeine, though. I just CAN'T do that!!

Ben, it's always, "Go, go, go," around here
and it's hard to get out of that mindset even for a couple of days.
I'm planning on taking vacation in March and I'm going to use it to do spring cleaning and get my yard ready for the spring. What kind of vacation is that?

You made the right choice
When it comes to caffeine intake, I have to make sure I don't drink coffee (or anything else with caffeine in it) past 3PM. Otherwise, I don't sleep, or if I do, I end up sleeping less. (That's a real danger for those of us with bipolar disorder, because a psychiatrist might think we're on the verge of the manic phase of the disorder.)
As far as relaxing goes, I can understand how difficult it is for you to relax if you take any time off. If I take any time off at all, I find it hard to relax mentally myself for a few days.
