Walking past the hutch. . . . .
Oh gawd. . , the quiet is the worst part of it all!!!  I remember losing my last one.  We sat in the living room, blankly looking at the walls.  We both admitted how "the quiet" was killing us!!  Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

Last week we had a very large, yellow "harvest moon"
It was awesome looking...It does affect the way we behave - I've always believed that.

I've heard many stories about how the moon affects our behavior.  Is it coincidental that strange things occur when the moon is full?

Wow Malcolm,
I had no idea you kept blogs in so many places. That’s for sharing the links.

Malcolm

Undoubtedly you’ve heard of the exercise/demonstration of taking a jar and filling it with large rocks, pebbles, and sand.  If you start with the sand (the small things in our day), then add the pebbles (the semi-important thing), and finally try to add the rocks (the important things) there will be little room for the rocks.  If you start in reverse however…. Rocks first, pebbles, next, then sand… there will be room for all of it.  Pebbles will find their way into the spaces the rocks have left and the sand will trickle into the remaining space.  I’m rambling… but hopefully you get my point.
