Xenox the Warrior Princess is having a bad day!

I want us out of the war as much as anyone else, but I'm not willing to accept defeat as the way of doing it.

My preference is that Iran, Syria et al toe the line without being forced. But if force is called for, then so be it. And, by the way, we have troops scattered over half the world anyway, as we have since World War II.

If you think there's no freedom of speech, then how come your dissenting opinion is on my blog?

My true leader died temporarily on a cross a couple of thousand years ago. But some do consider FDR (dec. 1945) to be their true leader.

purveyor of darkness -- don't know why you are so egotistical to
call yourself writeroflight --

looks like you want us to stay in this war, like our illegitimate president says, "Stay the course."

right through the rest of the century -- bringing our country down

and of course you  want us in Iran and Syria and Lebanon and Sudan -- maybe have the troops scattered over half the world

we play our cards right, this will be a never ending war

and of course no one should oppose it

we don't have freedom of speech here in America do we?

no one should have the balls to oppose what you support.

your true leader died in 1945

Yes
My oldest son is retired from the army, he fought in the Gulf war, Haiti, Afghanistan.  My second son spent about 10 years in the army, went to Bosnia.  My third son is currently in Iraq, we  hope to have him home next month or the first of April.  My youngest chose not to go into the military.  All 4 of my sons are my heroes.  Any military mom I speak with is just as proud of her soldier as I am.  The negativity and moronic statements of the politcians and 'anti-war' individuals, are an absolute disgrace, and are a horrific slap in the faces of our sons and daughters who fight to allow these big mouths to open their mouths!

Agreed
This is politics at its worst.  The politicians that did not present themselves unequivocally behind this war are determined to sabotage it by use of well-orchestrated, decidedly not public, "public opinion".  It is "their war or no war".
