I think they’ve got a big boomer audience they’re trying to reach.

I love the design, but the font is a little bit too dark. Maybe a lighter brown would be easier to read.

Prince scares me, the thought of sleeping with him is akin to leaving a
jack russell have at it with my leg. It's just that he's small, scary skinny, and I've seen willies bigger (sorry to be so blunt but I'm cranky). Himself & Nicole Richie, perfect couple, two matchsticks. Bleeeeurgh.
By the way 'dotey' is from to dote on something, it's just an Irishism for cute, most commonly used with babies, 'ah, isn't he/she dotey?' or 'c'mere dotey pet'.

A dark blue typeface or something like that would make it easier for me to read luv. I can't really comment about come back entertainers, but I wouldn't want Frank Sinatra to come back that's for sure. lol

Technically, they didn't "bring back" Prince because he never left. He's not as popular as he was during the Purple Rain era, but he's still making music and touring. Prince playing the Super Bowl is a statement concerning current "moral" standards. Yes, things have gotten so bad that Prince is now acceptable for "family" entertainment. Imagine that.

I agree Billy Joel didn't murder the anthem but I also didn't get chills up my spine when he sang. It could have been much worse.

To take things in the proper order: I think I will have to renew my appointment with the optometrist, although he may get tired of me, making appointments and then cancelling them...in the meantime, I just highlight the text...
Billy Joel was okay, at least he didn't murder your anthem, as most singers do these days...sheeesh
Prince, including teeny boppers? I've seen worse, but what was with that head scarf of his? And I never did quite figure out who that apparition in white was...
And yes, there was a fly-over, but these are jets, they're kind of fast, and they also wanted to get back in out of the rain, I'm sure...

I'm not a big fan of Prince, either...
...but I have to agree with you when you said you'd rather hear him than Jessica Simpson! I think they could have picked someone better, though...
And as far as the font goes, I can read it pretty well over the light parts of the background; over the dark spots, it's a little more difficult but still do-able.

I suppose that we still admire the old rocker's music that we grew up listening to and maybe the organizers think that only old folk watch football - LOL

That is the problem for me. Do we really have any real good ones out currently either? I love country music but I am guessing about 75% of those watching wouldn't and I would rather beat myself in the head with a boulder than listen to Jessica Simpson.
