Hello... just wanted to say I just ran across your blog and really enjoyed it... I was wondering if you've written anything or have any thoughts on how to be an effective "low person on the totum pole" I am the newest, youngest, least paid employee at the business I work. I have read books like "7 habits" etc and believe in those kinds of values, but my workplace does not. I know I will have an effect eventually just because I am being proactive etc. But my question (at last!! you say!) is how to do this effectively. I want to be a leader someday (today in my own way, even!)... but I'm not sure how to help my business treat the new group of new employees soon to come in! I want to make them feel welcome and help them ease into the positions (while still producing of course) but my boss has a strong feeling for "sink or swim"... what do you think?
