Tonyzonit - "mental murder?" - that's a little harsh isn't it?
But I have to agree that to label someone whom we disagree with in such a manner is advancing one's beliefs at the expense of others. There were other efforts as well, mostly fabricated character assassinations with a few general purpose lies thrown in for good measure. My assessment of this particular individual being retarded was not innacurate.

arGee - no I'm not old enough to remember the beat generation first hand

I was but a pup back then (if I have my eras straight? - late 50's early 60's)

I do remember seeing examples of "nihilist art" in both grahic art and music. It was a nice idea, eliminate the constrictions and boundaries to come up with a beauty derived from chaos. Too bad that most of it was an offense to our human senses.

Xeno-x - there are some folks that love creating labels for those they
disagree with.

In a sense, this is too easy.
These attitudes are ridiculous, but what else is there to say? It stems from a selfish desire to perpetuate their lives at the expense of the lives of non-believers. It's mental murder!

Are you old enough to remember the Beat Generation, Gome...
And Peggy Lee's song, "If that's all there is..."? Nihilism has a certain practical expression that can actually be stretched to encompass both you and me with no more spin or distortion than the typical Leftie puts on anything of substance.  Carry it as a badge of honor!

SuccessWarrior - for some folks - that's all they have
Attack the author if they disagree with the blog content. Forget about making their own case or putting forth their own contentions, it's easier to just make stuff up.

You get more than your fair share of criticism on your character

strat - the contentions extrapolated from the word were even funnier

ariel70 - there was definitely an extreme bias clouding the receptors and

editing my words.

I put up with it for awhile, then said adios to the individual. To my knowledge this person has not once ever challenged anyone who believes in God on any opinion posted. Not once .....that is how deep rooted this person's bias is.....either that or those who believe in God only post articulate, lucid opinions on this site, that never disparage anyone or promote anything that society doesn't need more of?......yeah right.

Nihilist, eh?
That word would be about two syllables too long for the cretin who attempted to use it...

Gome

Well, it's obvious, isn't it? The idiot had clearly never read your posts, but was one of those cretins who only read what they want to see, so they can lash out.

I wonder if they wear some special kind of specs that change other's words into what they think he/she is really saying.

Goddamnit! They're worse than them there atheists!
