You're right - if you give him $1,500 for whatever it is his team was trying to sell you, you've just made him and his team richer. You might not do anything good for your own bottom line, if you're spending that kind of money on learning about ways to get rich.

I read that book a few years ago.
I don't remember much about it. His sales team tried to get me to give him $1,500 to teach me how to create wealth. It probably creates wealth for him. =)

I've said this before, but it bears repeating. It's good that you're setting up multiple streams of income. In fact, there's even a book by that title out there on the market, at least last I looked - it's by Robert Allen. I disagree with his basic premise about just which income streams one should build up; I like your ideas more (the idea that you're writing for Blogit, loaning money on Prosper, earning a salary, and using your wife's economic contributions - none of which involve real estate scams or any of the other questionable ideas Allen puts forth in his book).
