Somehow I read chapter seven before I read this one.  It doesn't really matter though, as they are all horrible--well written, but as I know from history, It only gets worse.  You tell it so well.

Kabu

You will earn a mention in my will, my undying gratitude, and a place in Heaven among the Elect, for spotting my stupid mistake.

Can't guarantee you a place next to the Big Fella, but I'll put in a good word for you ( I supply Him with mobile fones, see? ) and in any case you'll sit above the salt.

Yikes!! good job I saw your comment ; was just on the way to bed!

Thank you

Tony

When this series is finished I'll post one or two other explaining why it could only have been the Germans who perpetrated the Shoah.

They'll cover aspects of it that receive veryy little attention ; and that only recently.

Thanks for dropping in.

it's good of you that you're not criticizing the Jews for being slaughtered...

Great writing, El Tel.
In some ways it seems long ago, but of course in relative terms it is not, and not too dissmilar things have happened in Europe as recently as the nineties, and even more recently in the case of Israel. It does appear for some strange reason as though the Jews have played a particularly tragic role in history for many centuries. I am not criticising them - I am an admirer of theirs in many ways.
