Carl , I would just have to say that your response
is so superficial, you clearly are not that well read about the history of the Bush family, going all the way back to WWII. It was a Bush family owned company that was the only corporation prosecuted at the Nuremberg Trials for collaborating with the Nazis. I'd say that is corporate "evil doing" that goes way way back. And there is a trail that is easy to follow if you just take the time to read some history, and follow the money trail through time. It leads right back to Bush/cheney the Saudis and their oil, the "military/industrial complex" - Haliburton - KBR - Bechtel/Parsons etc., etc. etc...

Afzal, with Bushes approval rating 28% I'd say that's
a pretty good indicator of his lack of support with thepeople of America.

The French were dependent on Iraqi Oil
which is why they were against the Iraq war. This is only the tip of the iceberg of hypocrisy in the so-called anti-war movement.
Add to that the fact that Bush's association with the petroleum industry is with domestic(US) drilling and not with the refineries and it is clear that, in that respect, Bush's war in Iraq works against rather than in support of his financial interests.
There will therefore not be any effect on policy until such time as an opposition group advances a consistent and coherent argument for an alternative. The current ranting and raving against Bush, the protests based on hate rather than logic, will not sway critics of Bush, much less his supporters.
