Don't Know
I always round my bunch up to the nearest year, easier and would lose track of the months anyway.

Hey Julia!
Sorry for the late response. I've been preoccupied with life stuff this past week. I'll be sure to check it out! I've been meaning to catch up anyway.

Geez, Sir Strat!
At 19 months? My mom put us in pre-school but that was at like, age 3 or 4. I think it's probably a way to get someone else to watch the kid! Either that or the parents think their kid is a genius!

Well then, that means I am 582 months old! LOL. BTW--I remember you saying that you didn't believe animals reincarnated--I have just posted a different theory in my Seeing Beyond Blog this morning--I'd be curious to know what you think!

What's even worse is on or abut their 19 month birthdays,
some of these uber moms put these kids in special schools to give them a head start.
I just don't understand such...

Spitfire
I think months old should end at one year old. But, parents are, sad to say, very competitive on what their little ones can do how soon. When a young parent (especially the mothers) want to brag and they have to admit that their darling was not walking by a year old they count the days, weeks, months until they do. Same thing for first tooth, first word, first poop...oops erase that last one.

Maybe?
Children develop so rapidly in the first two years that having a child 4 months old is a totally different stage to having one 5 months old. I remember after 2 the development wasn't so dramatic so I tended to say "2 and a bit" or "almost 3".

Lol, I've been guilty of this answer more than once, Spitfire

Could be because parents hear/see the age of their offspring by months, instead of years, in the early days of life from child development materials and pediatricians. Interesting perspective...:)
