….. your comments are quite interesting and not without foundation……many tend to seek out special places for reflection and worship. Even in nature, one might seek to position himself by the river, or on the cliff, or in some other inspirational place. Many such sacred places are indeed very interesting, like Machu Picchu in Peru, and are situated all about the world.

Talk about synchonicity--I read Ody's post first and then clicked your name to find this! I loved both posts.
As the spiritualist evolves, they (hopefully) come to the conclusion that one only needs to look within to connect with God--and you can do this sitting in your own home, no temples needed! ;-)

Ciel.. when I read Ody'd post I couldnt stop looking at the pics
recently .. I went to Las Vegas. The huge casinos and hotels are elaborately adorned with flashing lights and eye catching artwork.. who is the god of money anyway?
