Lovely

Oh, good! Go for it, gal!

In a later bit of the story you'll see the two sides of Poland ; those who approved, and those who opposed, and when it's finished, I'll post a piece about many other saviours of Jews

Ariel,

Many Poles were very brave indeed.  This story is heart wrenching, but I thank you for writing and sharing it with me.

You have inspired me to start working on LENA'S story again...Shalom....

Taps

My story is what happened to many of the survivors of the Warsaw Uprising. Many were taken off to death camps right away, and a lot more were killed after having been employed on clearing up work.

When this story is finished I'll post another one about some people who saved the Jews from death. And I don't mean Schindler, because some people saved far more than he.

Thank you for the interest.

Many years ago I read Leon Uris' novel Mila 18. I think I should have read your Lest We Forget first.
