Oh well that's good Bel...there are sooooooo many military facilities
in Colorado (including NORAD) I'm getting a bit suspicious! LOL

LOL there is an Army post in Colorado so it's very likely since a friend of mine is waiting for orders to be there.

Bel...Colorado Springs is a beautiful area, it has a different beauty...

We spend a lot of time in Southern Colorado. I live in the northern rockies which is different but just as beautiful...it's more mountainous.  Too bad you never got to visit...maybe someday!

I had family that lived in Colorado Springs but I never had a chance to visit.  The pictures were awesome they used to send.  As for the snow YUCK!

Absolutely Bel...I am a bit biased but Colorado is one of the most
beautiful states that I have been to, and I have been to all but Hawaii. My next favorite is Oregon where my husband used to live. I love the fact that we never have to go "out of state" to go on a beautiful sightseeing vacation.  This place is incredible. Gee, the Colorado Chamber of Commerce should be paying me! LOL Oh, BTW, it is going to snow this Sat., and Sun. That will be every week for six weeks in a row! We're making history!

actually that would be the Patriot Guard.  Rolling Thunder's primary mission to to bring awareness to the fact that we still have MIA/POW's from Vietnam that are unaccounted for.

I find that most of these types of groups are also involved with the Patriot Guard.

many of these bikers are with the Patriot Guard as well.  I usually get notices sent to me when they have something scheduled in Michigan.

I really admire the Freedom Riders.  I also appreciate the groups who show up at military funerals, waiving their flags so that demonstrators against the military are silenced.
