- Go to to hell and back...depression got me again.
Just trying to cheer you up with random stream of consciousness craziness
and boost your self-esteem -- though you are a beautiful and intelligent lady. Still, Sicily is a bit of a commute and my meager Neapolitan comes from Caruso records, so dating would not be feasible.
Glad to hear you have someone who can help you laugh and enjoy life.
Take care!

yes I have my laughter dose everyday....
I try to watch 80's classics like Eddie Murphy's Raw and Delirious, Spinal Tap, Slapshot, etc. It gets me through those really awful moments.....it works wonders.
Oh and btw...don't need a date...I'm happily taken!
Thanks for stopping by!

Have you tried a dose of Laughter?
No. It is not the street name for some date drug which used to be used to cure bunions in horses. Just the good old, possibly maniacal, maybe senseless laugh.
Whenever I get really down, I try to find some isolated room in the asylum, I mean house, and laugh my head off.
Go ahead! Try it! Doesn't that make you feel at least a little bit better?
How about Sleep? Mountain Air? Sea Air? Bicycling? Hiking? Rowing a boat on a lake?
How about a date?
Now where did THAT come from?
Probably from that date drug previously used to cure bunions in horses. Except that horses can't get bunions.

@RckyMtnActivist
Thanks for your suggestions...I've started St. John's Wort again. I used it last summer and benefitted from it. I'm going to start the B complex today. I refuse to go on any pharmaceutical meds for depression....I feel it would only make matters worse. In shambles as I am, at least that's one thing I won't give in to.

@afzal50
Thank you...in all this darkness I have not lost my faith. I try to read all this as a sign, I ask myself "What does God want from me?" and just go on....

Hi NewYorker...it is good to see you back! I'm sorry to hear about
your depression....are you getting any help...medication or therapy? I am a nutritionist and there are some natural remedies that help. For example 5-HTP is a natural serotonin booster. Another good supplement for depression is a good Vitamin B Complex. Depression sucks so I do hope you are getting the help to make you better!
