Gordon Lightfoot
Xeno-x: My favorite Gordon Lightfoot song is Beautiful. I think of making love to a beautiful woman in a snowy mountain cabin isolated from everyone when I hear that song.

Actually, if he has lasted this long, he must have something on the ball,
besides a beautiful voice and style, and if he played a concert anywhere near where I might be, I'd go to it... Maybe those poor performances were for reasons I wasn't in a position to know anything about... We were all younger then.

He was one of my favorites, in college, but after two concerts in which he
came on stage drunk and or stoned, could not remember the words to his songs, and gave a lot of who-gives-a-shit to the audience, the shine kinda wore off.
And how come radio stations only play something like 3 of his songs? There are so many fine ones to choose from!
