Hi YPunday!
...yes, I have a tremendous respect for Gandhi and his principles... however, he was dealing with the English... who weren't very nice to him as well as many others... but, had he been dealing with someone like Adolf Hitler or Saddam Hussien he would simply have been arrested by the secret police and tortured and shot... yes, the United States gets a lot of criticism... yet, thousands flock to our shores, legally and illegally, everyday... why is that? ...thanks for dropping by...

I bring Avant's lovely dogs...and God's tiny message of peacefulness

LOved the drawing and picture. The picture and the facts around it always make me uneasy. Perhaps because Gandhi says the democracy preached by the West cannot be taken seriously by the rest of the world when their hands are dripping with blood...what else can we expect if western democracies rely on the army for so much!  [We are so militarized as a society, but see it only in Korea & enemies]

mason--
that's a great story! Even if I did have the ability to draw (which I don't), Im not sure I could have "drawn under pressure" like that.
