You probably have a good idea there but I have a hard time just keeping up with Blogit reading, commenting writing.

I am not that swift at all this Joe, but why don't folks just use their real e-mail addresses, why do we need another one?

What am I missing here? Thanks Joe.

what's the difference between yahoo and the blogit cafe?

joe - thanks very much for stopping by.  in response to your comments:

the astrological signs are all body-painted women and i post one a month.

i was sorry for the saints' loss for their sake, considering all new orleans has been through, a win would have been a great boost.  i am actually rooting for the colts this year so everything's panning out fine by me!

re the renos dream; both my sisters are undergoing renos with their homes right now and i'm green with envy because i'm all ideas and no money for my own home.  i make do using creativity and keeping my eye open for bargains/free stuff and i love my home, it looks great and is very comfortable but for once i'd like to make it look like how I want it, not forever compromise.

i'm not entirely sure about the white-out either except that the walls of my home are white and because painting is an expense i can't afford, i think it's a subconscious sickness of the financial shackling.  all of my money goes right back into my business, ultimately that is what will take me where i want to be, it's the standard compromise/sacrifice issue.  i assume the white-out was knocked over by manic kittens because a) i'm feeling not entirely in control and b) i love kittens regardless of what they do so there is an accepted forgiveness - i guess i'm forgiving myself?  in terms of the books, don't know why the first one was spared.  it was the start of the alphabetized listings; "A" through whatever, perhaps it represents i always feel like i'm stuck at the start, feeling like i'm not moving forward.

Sorry, Julia , I am working on a new story for my other blog. Actually,
I was inclined toward AIM since I know a lot of people use it.  However, after looking at the reviews, AIM was mentioned in any of them.

you didn't like my question, eh??

Troosha , actually MSN is a highly rated messenger service.
Many sites rate it higher than Yahoo.  Others rate Yahoo above it.  Either way, the two services are ranked both 1 and 2.

Good idea
but I think I'll always want a more permanent recored here; although I know we could share logfiles of 'conversations.' Thanks also for your comment on my blog.

No, offbeats, it's not new at all.
I have a bunch of friends that I i.m with, though mostly from other communities.  My point is that should it be placed on blogit pages and the one messenger system be recognized, the usage common practice of using it would strengthen the community.

This is such a GREAT idea!  I will be doing this!  And I hope others will, too!  That way I won't have to blog with a plunger in hand.  It frustrates me when the comments section on the main screen is clogged or backed up with a bunch of chatroom like conversations.

Joe--
I have in the past IM'd blogger friends who I know have AIM--is the yahoo chat similar? I know you're going to say it's better, everyone hates AOL. But what advantage would I have in yahoo that I don't with AIM?

What a great idea!

Of course this begs the question Joe...when on earth do you have time to chat?  LOL!

Actually I like yahoo because I can add people who have hotmail, etc... as well.

It would be nice to communicate real time with
other bloggers. But it's a choice between bloggers, I think. I for one would not want to flood my YM with troublesome bloggers.
