No chance. I almost lost Percy tonight
I took him out into the garden with my book and a director's chair and then texted a couple of friends who all texted back simultaneously and once I had read all my replies he had gone. I spent about 30 minutes looking for him when he decided to reveal himself. He had escaped under the fence but couldn't work out how to get back. There may well be a cat scene written in somewhere though . . .

Is the title "Walking the Cat" by any chance?
You could use your experiences with Percy (Grainger, "In An English Garden") cat as a metaphor for controlling the naturally uncontrollable in the main plotline.

You might also consider searching on Ebay for a copy of a screenplay.
I'd get one that had actually been used by an actor, so that you can draw inspiration from that too.

Good luck with your screen play!
Have you written one before?
